Head of Compliance - Kennedy Pearce

***HEAD OF COMPLIANCE & MLRO*** The London branch of an European commercial bank are looking for SMF16/17 to join their busy City-based office to oversee a small team.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Head of Compliance & MLRO

1. Maintaining internal Compliance/AML/monitoring frameworks
2. Providing advice and guidance to senior stakeholders
3. Dealing with conflicts and PA Dealing/gifts requests
4. Assessing the commercial impact of new regulations
5. Updating policies and holding the Data Protection Officer position.

Qualities & Attributes required to be a Head of Compliance & MLRO

You will have previous banking experience ideally from a capital markets/FX/treasury background. You will ideally have experience working as a SMF16/17 but an outstanding Deputy with extensive proven stand-in experience may also be considered. Salary: Competitive - with hybrid/flexible working.
