Strategy & Operations Associate

About the Role

Join a growing AI-focused insurtech company to help scale its claims operations. Working directly with the CEO, you will bring structure and efficiency to the processes that support claims handling and have the opportunity to grow into leadership of a core business area.

What You'll Do

• Own special projects and strategic initiatives in close partnership with the CEO.

• Build and formalize claims operations, including process design, hiring, and workflows.

• Develop scalable, data-driven processes that improve product workflows.

• Lead cross-functional problem solving across product, engineering, and business teams.

• Bring clarity and structure to a range of fast-moving, high-impact initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Two to five years of overall experience, including experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or strategy and operations at a high-growth startup.

• Startup or entrepreneurial experience, such as working at an early-stage company, building a venture, or taking on an unstructured operating role.

• A strong undergraduate academic background; an MBA or master's degree is not required.

• Structured, data-driven problem solving and exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience working through ambiguity, independently identifying problems, and switching quickly between priorities.

• Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers, teammates, and partners.

• Interest in insurance claims operations and AI-enabled business processes.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $100,000 to $150,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week.
