Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems, with a focus on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.

Candidates must demonstrate strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently develop, troubleshoot, and enhance complex applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Develop database integrations, write complex SQL queries, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot application issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and support production environments.
• Work with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and modern DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, architecture, and business teams in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, collections, multithreading, concurrency, exception handling, and JVM fundamentals.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring MVC.
• Strong experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, or MySQL.
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, or Spring Data.
• Proficiency with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and standard SDLC practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with distributed systems, performance optimization, and high-volume applications.
• Background in financial services or other large enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting production applications and resolving complex technical issues.
