Riser Engineer / Senior Riser Engineer

Aberdeen | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)

Up to £72,000 DOE + Benefits

37.5 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading offshore engineering consultancy for a Riser Engineer or Senior Riser Engineer to join their specialist team in Aberdeen.

You'll be responsible for the analysis and modelling of steel, flexible pipe, drilling and top-tensioned riser systems, supporting a range of high-profile offshore projects. This role would suit an experienced Senior Riser Engineer, although engineers with a solid foundation in riser analysis and a desire to develop further are also encouraged to apply.

What we're looking for:

3+ years' experience in riser engineering

Strong experience with OrcaFlex (essential)

Knowledge of steel and flexible pipe risers, drilling risers, conductors or mooring systems

Understanding of API and DNV standards

Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or a related discipline

Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills
