Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Contact Center technologies to support a large-scale customer experience transformation initiative. This role involves designing scalable data solutions, building real-time data pipelines, and integrating cloud-based contact center platforms to enable data-driven customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CCaaS platforms (Five9, Genesys, IVR, or Contact Center technologies) along with strong Google Cloud Platform data engineering skills.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with Kafka or Google Pub/Sub
  • Strong SQL and Python programming skills
  • Experience with data modeling and large-scale datasets
  • Experience developing REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Five9, GECX, or Genesys Cloud
  • Contact Center / CCaaS implementation experience
  • IVR design and call routing experience
  • Automatic Call Distribution (ACD)
  • Omnichannel customer interaction workflows
  • Cloud Run, GKE, or containerized applications
  • Java
  • Hadoop
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform technologies.
  • Build and maintain real-time data processing solutions using Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
  • Develop data models supporting analytics, reporting, and customer experience initiatives.
  • Integrate contact center platforms with enterprise systems, CRM, and APIs.
  • Support cloud-based CCaaS implementations and contact center modernization projects.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, scalability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
  • Contribute to cloud architecture, automation, and deployment best practices.
