Position Summary
The Lead Agile Coach / Scrum Master is responsible for supporting one or more Agile teams in the successful adoption and execution of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role serves as a servant leader, coach, facilitator, and mentor, helping teams deliver business value while fostering collaboration, self-organization, transparency, and accountability. The Lead Agile Coach partners with Product Owners, Development Teams, and organizational stakeholders to improve team effectiveness, remove impediments, strengthen Agile delivery practices, and cultivate a culture of learning and innovation. The role provides objective guidance and coaching while helping teams identify and solve challenges through Agile mindsets and practices.
Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Experience: 5+ years of professional business experience. 3+ years of Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or related Agile delivery experience. Demonstrated experience facilitating, coaching, mentoring, and teaching within team-based environments. Experience identifying, communicating, and helping resolve team and organizational impediments.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and framework implementation. Experience in removing impediments and using good facilitation techniques.

- Promote growth and professional development across team members.
- Guide teams in risk identification, dependency management, conflict resolution, and continuous learning.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and Agile activities, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement.
- Coach Product Owners and Development Teams in effective Product Backlog management.
- Remove or help resolve organizational and team-level impediments.
- Protect teams from unnecessary interruptions and external distractions that impact productivity.
