Job Description

Our client, a leader in electrical equipment manufacturing, is looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a fully onsite role in Fairfield, OH, operating on 1st shift (7am-4:30pm; Mon - Thurs).
*This is a 6-month W2 contract opportunity with benefits!*
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead warehouse operations for a new manufacturing plant, overseeing end-to-end inventory, logistics, and distribution. You will provide strategic support as well as hands-on leadership for the warehouse team, driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement
What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping to ensure inventory accuracy in order to meet business and customer requirements
  • Oversee and develop a team of 10-20, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Customer Service, to drive process improvements and enhance warehouse efficiency
  • Promote and reinforce a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with company standards and manufacturing best practices
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Distribution, or Logistics, with recent leadership experience
  • Experience using SAP S/4HANA, and/or similar warehouse management systems & ERPs
  • Prior experience supporting audits, compliance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma/6S manufacturing environments - associated certifications highly valued!
