Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator – 6-Month Contract

Location: Bilsthorpe

We are recruiting a hands-on Project Coordinator to support a Project Manager on a live construction project in Bilsthorpe.

This is a practical coordination role rather than a senior project management position. You will help keep day-to-day site activity organised, working with contractors and ensuring the required documentation, site arrangements and health and safety records are kept up to date.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Supporting the Project Manager with the daily coordination of the construction project.
• Assisting with health and safety activity on site.
• Coordinating contractors and site visitors.
• Completing daily project reports, toolbox talks and contractor inductions.
• Keeping drawing registers and project documents organised and up to date.
• Updating project management systems.
• Arranging site visits for employees and subcontractors.
• Supporting diary management and meeting coordination.
• Maintaining accident and working-time statistics.
• Helping with site logistics and statutory approval paperwork.
• Providing general administrative support as required.

What we are looking for

• An SMSTS or SSSTS qualification – this is essential.
• Previous experience in project coordination, site administration or a similar support role.
• Practical site supervision experience.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• A practical and approachable communication style when dealing with contractors, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• The ability to work independently while providing reliable support to the Project Manager.

An FLT or MEWP licence would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
