The Role • Oversee all methods of traffic management including Give and Take, Priority, Stop/Go boards, Portable traffic signals, Convoy working, and road/lane closures. • Ensure all work is carried out according to safe working methods and best practice procedures. • Conduct risk assessments and develop method statements for traffic management works. • Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety, identifying potential improvements and reporting them. • Perform daily vehicle checks for cleanliness, tidiness, and safety. • Assist the public and promote a positive company image through attitude and site cleanliness. What You'll Need • Lantra 12d accreditation (TTMB, 12d M1-M2 minimum). • Lantra 12 a/b accreditation, IPV driver, or foreman experience is advantageous. • Understanding of Chapter 8 and the Safety at Street Works and Road Works (Red Book) and their application. • Full valid UK driving licence. • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings related to works. • Understanding of current traffic management legislation and guidance.
