Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Vermont
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year + benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Vermont-licensed LMFT to provide therapy services through telehealth. This position focuses on helping individuals, couples, and families work through relationship concerns, communication challenges, family stress, emotional difficulties, and major life transitions. You’ll manage a regular schedule of virtual sessions while providing thoughtful, client-focused care. The role includes building therapeutic relationships, guiding treatment conversations, and handling the clinical responsibilities needed to support ongoing progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth
  • Complete client assessments and gather relevant personal and family history
  • Explore relationship patterns, communication concerns, and factors affecting client wellbeing
  • Establish treatment goals based on each client’s needs and circumstances
  • Use appropriate marriage and family therapy approaches during sessions
  • Review client progress and adjust treatment direction when needed
  • Maintain accurate session notes and clinical documentation
  • Active Vermont LMFT license
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related clinical field
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Strong communication and clinical judgment
  • Full-time remote position
