Comptroller/Finance/Accounting

We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee daily financial operations in our manufacturing environment. This role combines financial expertise with operational insight to drive efficiency, cost control, and process improvement while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Control daily accounting and finance activities including job costing, payables, cash flow projections, and month-end reporting
Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial comparisons
Manage statutory and internal audits
Collaborate with manufacturing operations on cost-cutting initiatives
Set monthly operational targets for shipments, labor hours, and inventory
Monitor and control operational costs including supplies, repairs, and overtime
Plan equipment acquisition based on availability, costs, and economic projections
Develop performance reports on jobs, personnel utilization, and financial metrics
Manage production budget and ensure quality standards
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Minimum 8+ years of manufacturing accounting experience
Advanced Excel proficiency including macros and complex formulas
US GAAP knowledge and application
Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.)
Manufacturing operations background
