The role combines inside sales, account management, sales administration, and account reconciliation and requires consistent follow-through across technical, commercial, and scheduling details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and conduct targeted outbound outreach to prospective OEM, defense, medical, industrial, telecommunications, and channel customers.
  • Qualify opportunities by identifying applications, technical requirements, forecast volume, pricing, purchasing authority, schedule, and next steps.
  • Schedule and support discovery calls, technical reviews, facility visits, and follow-up meetings with sales, engineering, and leadership personnel.
  • Prepare and track quotations, proposals, nondisclosure agreements, supplier forms, samples, and customer correspondence.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for assigned customers, manufacturers' representatives, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations/production, quality, supply chain to support orders, delivery schedules, qualifications, forecasts, and issue resolution.
  • Track design-in activity, samples, customer qualifications, recurring production needs, and opportunities to expand accounts.
  • Reconcile customer and transaction information across Oracle NetSuite and related records, including quotations, purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, payments, commissions, and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and ERP records and provide concise weekly updates on pipeline progress, customer commitments, overdue actions, risks, and management decisions needed.
  • At least two years of experience in inside sales, sales support, business development, account management, sales operations, order administration, or a related B2B role.
  • Strong professional communication, organization, follow-up, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, accounting, or order-management systems; Oracle NetSuite experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of quotations, purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, payments, shipping records, and account reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to work independently in an on-site, cross-functional environment.
  • Sound judgment in handling confidential customer, technical, pricing, and financial information.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, a technical field, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
  • Power electronics, electronic components, defense and aerospace, medical devices, telecommunications, industrial equipment, or another technical OEM market.
  • Technical specifications, custom-engineered products, product revisions, qualification testing, samples, and design-in sales cycles.
  • OEM customers, defense contractors, manufacturers' representatives, distributors, contract manufacturers, or system integrators.

Performance Expectations

Success will be measured by timely lead response and follow-up; qualified opportunities and appointments; accurate CRM, quotation, order, forecast, and account records; opportunity progression and customer retention; and prompt resolution of discrepancies and overdue actions.
