Job Description
1. Global Cloud Infrastructure Lifecycle Strategy Planning
- Drive the development of global cloud infrastructure resource strategies, including data center, network, and related infrastructure planning, covering long-term development strategies, global footprint planning, and end-to-end lifecycle management.
- Conduct policy research, industry analysis, and competitive intelligence across strategic regions and countries where the company's cloud business operates. Develop forward-looking infrastructure roadmaps that support sustainable business growth, define infrastructure evolution pathways, and maximize the long-term competitiveness and lifecycle return on investment (ROI) of strategic infrastructure assets.
- Establish mid-to-long-term infrastructure resource planning frameworks to ensure strategic competitiveness in global infrastructure deployment and capacity reserves.
2. Intelligent Capacity Planning and Resource Management
- Drive forward-looking forecasting and rolling planning of global IDC (Internet Data Center) capacity resources. Establish resource utilization monitoring, capacity control, and dynamic adjustment mechanisms to optimize resource allocation, guide business demand planning, and drive execution of infrastructure delivery plans, ensuring optimal capacity utilization and cost efficiency.
- Develop capacity forecasting models based on business growth trends and technology evolution roadmaps to support accurate resource investment decisions.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and rolling planning processes to ensure infrastructure supply remains closely aligned with business demand, minimizing risks related to resource shortages, bottlenecks, or underutilization.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Infrastructure Planning Senior Specialist should have:
1. Strategic Planning and Business Vision
- Demonstrated excellence in strategic thinking and long-term planning, with the ability to evaluate data center and cloud infrastructure development from both corporate and industry perspectives.
- Ability to navigate complex business scenarios, break down challenges from a holistic perspective, and formulate systematic and scalable solutions.
- Proven capability to translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable plans, implementation roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes.
2. Financial and Investment Analysis Expertise
- Strong foundation in corporate finance, capital investment evaluation, and business case development.
- Solid understanding of investment decision-making processes and methodologies, including NPV (Net Present Value), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), ROI analysis, and cost-benefit assessment.
- Ability to independently perform investment modeling, financial feasibility studies, and return-on-investment analysis to support major decisions related to data center construction, expansion, upgrades, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Experience in investment analysis within data centers, IDC businesses, or other capital-intensive industries is highly preferred.
3. Analytical Thinking and Stakeholder Management
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with the ability to quickly identify root causes and develop structured, data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear and compelling analytical reports.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, execution capability, and results-oriented mindset.
4. Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge
Solid understanding of core data center and cloud infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to:
- Computer architecture and fundamental computing principles
- Cloud computing concepts and architectures
- Data center design, planning, and construction standards
- Critical facility systems, including power distribution, cooling, and fire protection systems
- Server hardware architecture and infrastructure platforms
- Network architecture, networking technologies, and data center interconnection solutions
