The Role

• Install a variety of cables and electrical systems, including junction boxes, fuse panels, and transformers.
• Perform cable termination and installation of all electrical equipment to high standards.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with shipbuilding teams to ensure timely and efficient electrical installations.
• Adhere to all safety and quality compliance standards in your work.

What You'll Need

• Completion of a Modern Apprenticeship (SVQ Level 3) or equivalent trade qualification.
• Hold a valid SJIB card.
• Experience in marine installations or major industrial environments.
• Familiarity with risk assessments, PUWER, COSHH, and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and follow trade drawings and technical instructions.
• Proficiency in mounting electrical equipment, earthing, and cable terminations.
