Combines advanced incident response expertise with security automation capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities
Share ownership of end-to-end incident response activities with the Senior Incident Response Analyst.
Lead efforts to reduce manual security operations work through automation.
Design, build, and implement SOAR capabilities within Rapid7.
Create and optimize automated workflows for alert handling, enrichment, and response actions.
Review, redesign, and mature the organization's Incident Response Plan.
Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and operational procedures.
Evaluate the effectiveness of current security tools and processes.
Help maximize value from existing security investments and elevate overall security operations maturity.

Strategic Focus
The primary objective of this role is to help the security team by transforming existing manual processes into scalable, automated workflows while strengthening incident response capabilities and operational efficiency.
