Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Leawood, Kansas (On-Site) or any of these locations (Overland Park, KS, Ann Arbor, MI, Bloomington, MN, Canonsburg, PA, Cary, NC, Dallas, TX, Darrien, IL, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Orlando, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Tualatin, OR)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled engineering professional to support the detailed design of large-scale data center environments in a fast-paced, client-facing setting. Our team is looking for someone who can contribute strong technical judgment, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving to help deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to deliver detailed design for large-scale data center environments while following company, client, and project design requirements.
- Perform project tasks within budgeted hours and deadlines, incorporating schedules, budgets, and project criteria into physical design and layouts.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, conduct field surveys, compile data, and create engineering studies and reports.
- Coordinate with internal and external clients, mentor junior engineers and designers, and provide guidance on design risk factors, redundancy, and resiliency.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program in the home country or the country of professional practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Must have experience in AutoCAD.
- Must have experience in Revit or BIM.
- Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to the assigned engineering discipline.
- Professional registration or licensure in the designated home office country, or active pursuit of such registration or licensure, depending on the nature of the work performed.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include a criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
