Role: SAP QM/WM Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Houston, TX (On-Site) (Locals Only)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Domain: Chemical Manufacturing (Must Have)

Position Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced SAP QM/WM SME to support assessment, optimization, implementation, and ongoing enhancement initiatives within a chemical manufacturing environment.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP Quality Management (QM) and Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), along with a solid understanding of chemical industry business processes, regulatory requirements, batch management, and quality control procedures.
• This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, quality teams, supply chain leadership, and technical resources to align SAP capabilities with operational and compliance requirements.

Industry Experience:

• Previous experience within:
• Chemical Manufacturing
• Specialty Chemicals
• Petrochemical
• Industrial Manufacturing
• Process Manufacturing

Preferred Experience:

• SAP S/4HANA rise experience.
• SAP EWM experience preferred over legacy WM.
• Experience with:
• Batch Traceability
• Dangerous Goods Management
• Quality Compliance Programs
• Regulatory Audits
• Certificate of Analysis (COA)
• Understanding of EH&S is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Executive and operational communication experience.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and lead process discussions.
• Self-directed consultant capable of working independently.
