Security Administrator - Special Projects Elite Nightwing Security | Sterling, VA (Dulles Offsite Facility) About the Role Nightwing Security is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Security Administrator to support our Special Projects Elite (SPE) programs. This role is ideal for an individual who is interested in developing a career in program security and learning the responsibilities associated with supporting Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.

The Security Administrator will work closely with experienced security professionals and will provide administrative and operational support while gaining experience with government security requirements, policies, and procedures.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Top-Secret with Polygraph What You'll Do As a Security Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our security operations, with responsibilities that directly impact mission success: Personnel Security • Assist with processing personnel actions, including clearance requests, visit certifications, reinvestigations, and terminations • Maintain accurate personnel records and security documentation • Assist with maintaining clearance databases and tracking required actions • Assist with documenting and tracking security-related actions and requirements • Support onboarding, out-processing, security briefings, and administrative activities • Manage badge issuance, renewals, and clearance certifications Access Control • Support daily badging and access control activities • Receive, process, and send visit requests and certifications • Coordinate building access requests and maintain access records Program/Physical Security • Assist with maintaining SCIF documentation • Assist the security team with inspections, audits, self-assessments, and special projects • Support Guard force oversight Additional Responsibilities • Partner with government, program, and security personnel to ensure compliance with applicable requirements • Support the implementation of NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD), and customer-specific requirements • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Required Skills: • US Citizenship • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment • Ability to multi-task adeptly • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to learn new processes, systems, and security requirements

Desired Skills: • Previous experience in personnel, physical, industrial, or program security • Familiarity with NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and customer security requirements • Experience working in a fast-paced and mission-focused environment • Experience with security databases and access control systems • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn and grow professionally Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($55,000-$106,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.

Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
