Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw 50 firm seeking an experienced
Affordable Housing Finance Attorney to join its growing Finance Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance attorney with strong lender-side affordable housing and multifamily finance experience to work on sophisticated, nationwide transactions representing banks, financial institutions, and other leading lenders.

Represent lenders in affordable housing and multifamily finance transactions nationwide. Handle tax-exempt and taxable financings, including construction, bridge, and permanent loans. Draft and negotiate mortgage loan documents, intercreditor agreements, and subordinate financing arrangements

Navigate complex capital structures involving tax credits, subordinate financing, and intercreditor arrangements.
4+ years of lender-side affordable housing finance experience

~ Experience with affordable housing and multifamily finance transactions.
~ Strong experience drafting and negotiating mortgage loan and financing documents.
~ Familiarity with tax-exempt and taxable bond transactions preferred.
~ Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
