Business Analyst III - UX Research/Design Systems

Location: Chicago, Illinois (Partial Remote)

Role Overview

This role will drive the identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through the evaluation of real-time data. You will serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels for a Design System initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production to ensure maximum usability.
  • Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, security, compliance) to develop necessary analysis and documentation.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes.
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
  • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity, with specific experience in design systems.

Technical Skills: High proficiency with SQL language and database management. Knowledge of AI tools and experience generating process documentation and reports. Experience working with Business Objects and knowledge of ITIL Foundations.

Functional Skills: Cross-functional collaboration skills. Proven analytical abilities and excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on a large team.
  • Experience working with offshore teams.
Work Environment

The work schedule is aligned with Central Time business hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position requires being on-site 1-2 days per week.
