Job Description

Head of Pediatric Orthopedics | Trostberg, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Pediatric Orthopedics to lead the strategic development and establishment of a new operative focus within a leading international hospital renowned for its expertise in pediatric neurological and orthopedic conditions. As a teaching hospital affiliated with major universities, we are committed to advancing medical innovation and patient care.

The Role

  • Full medical, organizational, and strategic responsibility for the Pediatric Orthopedics department, with a primary focus on building and advancing operative care.
  • Specialized surgical treatment of congenital and acquired musculoskeletal disorders in children and adolescents, including spine, extremities, and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Development of an integrated treatment concept encompassing acute care, surgery, and rehabilitation.
  • Leadership, development, and expansion of a high-performing interdisciplinary team.
  • Close collaboration with Neurosurgery, Neuropediatrics, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, and Radiology.
  • Representation of the center internally and externally to referring physicians, professional societies, and network partners.
