The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for loading, unloading, and relocating shipping containers. • Drive hostlers to accurately position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container movements and daily tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures. • Support efficient logistics operations by ensuring accurate and timely handling of containers. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50lbs.
