Join an Innovative, Export-Driven Australian Technology Company Gold Coast Own OEM & Distributor Accounts Across RV, Truck, Industrial & Marine Markets About The CompanyOur client designs and manufactures advanced power electronics, lithium battery systems, charging systems and control technology for the RV, truck, marine, automotive and industrial sectors. Based on the Gold Coast, they supply OEMs, distributors and commercial partners across Australia and internationally, with around 70% of their business generated through export - giving this role a strong international focus.
They are a fast-moving Australian technology company, with engineering, firmware, product and sales teams working together to deliver practical, high-performance systems for demanding customers.
About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this position is to identify, win, manage and grow OEM, distributor and commercial accounts across the RV, truck, industrial, commercial vehicle and marine markets, both in Australia and overseas.
Reporting directly to the Director, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Travel to visit customers and trade shows in Australia and overseas
- Identify and approach new OEM, distributor and commercial customers
- Grow existing accounts and turn technical advantages into commercial value
- Build senior relationships with business owners, engineers and purchasing teams
- Prepare quotes and proposals and help customers select the right system packages
- Comfortable travelling within Australia and overseas
- Strong pipeline management - able to follow up and keep deals moving
- Confidence opening new commercial conversations with senior decision-makers
- A technically curious mindset - able to learn fast and sell in plain commercial language
- Proven BD or account management experience, ideally in RV, truck, industrial, solar, battery or marine electrical markets
- Base Salary of $100,000-$120,000 + 12% Super, depending on experience
- Flexible 38-Hour Work Week with a December/January Company Shutdown
- Travel to Overseas Trade Shows and build relationships with global customers
- OTE of $150,000-$220,000+, with sales commission of 20% of net margin (capped at $15k/month)
- Vehicle Allowance & Fuel Reimbursement for business travel, plus a Laptop & Technology Allowance
