Join our technology team supporting public markets investing across Fixed Income and Equities within Macquarie Asset Management, working directly with stakeholders in the investment management business. We translate business needs into robust technology solutions that support quantitative and market research, portfolio management, investment compliance, trading and investment operations, helping to improve automation, analytics and execution capabilities.

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, contributing to the ongoing evolution of critical platforms. You will partner closely with investment professionals to translate business data and workflow requirements into scalable technology solutions, enabling the team to identify opportunities, manage risk and drive innovation.

What you offer

• 4+ years of technology experience in Financial Markets is required, with a strong preference for experience in Asset Management or Capital Markets.


• Strong software engineering experience with proficiency in Python, React, Java and SQL, and experience using AWS technologies, Apache Airflow, and Relational and NoSQL databases.


• Exposure to full-stack solutions, with a good understanding of distributed systems, messaging technologies, and event-driven versus batch architecture.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and communicate clearly; comfortable in proposing designs and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
