Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Resident Engineer (HPE Networks) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data center routing, switching, and Juniper/HPE networking and a proven ability to design, support, troubleshoot, and automate complex network environments.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for HPE data center networking, including design, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, best practices, and automation.


• Provide primary technical support for break/fix activities and restore services using advanced diagnostics.


• Advise on best practices for Junos configurations and network design.


• Manage and grow relationships with internal teams and partners involved in engineering design and development.


• Review designs and project activities for compliance with standards and provide feedback to improve quality.


• Contribute domain expertise and engineering leadership to cross-organizational projects and programs.


• Integrate new technologies into engineering projects and designs to drive innovation.


• Mentor and guide junior staff members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in data center routing and switching with HPE/Juniper technologies, including MX, QFX, PTX, and EX series.


• Experience testing and certifying Junos and Junos EVO features and associated hardware.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on troubleshooting experience.


• Ability to develop test automation and write scripts in Python.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.


• 6+ years of experience in relevant roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in cloud architectures, distributed computing, and microservices.


• Experience with DevOps, security-first mindset, UX awareness, and full stack development fundamentals.

Education & Travel:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.


• Up to 10% travel to customer sites.

• Work On Site Required: Yes. Client Interface Required: Yes.


• Overtime Required: Yes. Shift: 9-6. Hours per Day: 8. Labor Type: Technical.


• Primary Location Address: 7815 Crescent Executive Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217, US.
