Job Description

Title: Electronics Systems Field Service Technician.
Location: Dallas, TX 75261.
Duration: 12+ Months Contract.

(Plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO)

 

  • Electrical and control systems troubleshooting
  • Low-voltage electrical diagnostics and power testing
  • Electronic component diagnostics and repair
  • Equipment diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Structured cabling installation and troubleshooting
  • Network hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • IP and Analog Camera systems troubleshooting
  • Use of diagnostic tools, including cable testers, multimeters, and tone generators
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Installation, configuration, commissioning, and repair of systems and equipment
  • Reading electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and network layouts
  • Field service and site inspections
  • Outdoor equipment operation
  • System configuration and documentation of repairs/fixes
  • Vendor coordination and escalation of advanced technical issues
  • Safety compliance and hazard awareness
  • Environmental / weather-condition work experience
  • Experience in parking control systems and operations.
  • Experience in the installation, configuration, and repair of parking control components.
  • Certified Low Voltage Systems Technician (CLVST)

 Job Description:
We are seeking an Electronics Systems Field Support Technician to troubleshoot and maintain Airport parking controls systems. Experience in parking control systems and operations is preferred; however, if you meet the required experience below, then training in parking control systems will be provided.

 Required Experience (2+ years):

  • Electrical and control systems troubleshooting
  • Low-voltage electrical diagnostics and power testing
  • Electronic component diagnostics and repair
  • Equipment diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Structured cabling installation and troubleshooting
  • Network hardware installation and troubleshooting
  • IP and analog camera systems troubleshooting
  • Use of diagnostic tools, including cable testers, multimeters, and tone generators
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Installation, configuration, commissioning, and repair of systems and equipment

  • Experience in the installation, configuration, and repair of parking control components.

Preferred Certification:

  • Certified Low Voltage Systems Technician (CLVST)

Required Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adjust schedules as needed to meet job requirements.
  • Ability to be On-Call via personal cell phone or other department-defined method.
  • Ability to adhere to dress code: Collared Shirt, Jeans, Steel Toe Boots
  • Ability to provide your own hands-on electronics, electrical, mechanical, and field-service tools used to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain equipment (full list can be provided upon request).
