Redpath Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our operations at Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee the maintenance and reliability of a modern underground mining fleet while supporting safe and productive mining operations.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of tradespeople and maintenance personnel to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of underground mobile equipment and associated infrastructure. You will play a key role in driving maintenance performance, fleet availability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance crews across underground and surface workshops
• Coordinate planned maintenance, breakdown response and repair activities
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
• Monitor fleet performance, reliability and equipment availability
• Drive preventative maintenance strategies to minimise downtime
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety interactions and pre-start meetings
• Provide coaching, mentoring and support to tradespeople and apprentices
• Liaise with operations, OEM representatives and site leadership teams
• Manage maintenance reporting, work orders and documentation requirements
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost efficiencies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Australian-recognised Trade Qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic, Auto Electrician or similar trade discipline
• Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor or Leading Hand position within underground mining
• Strong knowledge of underground mining equipment and maintenance practices
• Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating shutdowns, servicing and breakdowns
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Sound understanding of safety management systems and maintenance planning processes
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Current Australian work rights
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements
