Position Overview

Futurex is seeking a Director of Partner Marketing with experience marketing enterprise cybersecurity or other complex security technologies to lead and execute programs that support brand awareness, demand generation, sales growth, product positioning, and partner engagement. This is a broad senior marketing role with meaningful responsibility for partner and channel marketing.

The ideal candidate is a player-coach who can set strategy, establish priorities, coordinate work across teams, and personally produce high-quality marketing deliverables. This role requires someone who is comfortable moving between planning and execution, whether developing a campaign, writing content, building sales tools, analyzing performance, or working directly with a partner on a joint initiative.

The Director will work closely with marketing, sales, alliances, product management, engineering, and other teams to translate business priorities and complex cybersecurity capabilities, including encryption, key management, PKI, hardware security modules, and cloud security services, into clear, effective marketing programs. Success in this role requires strong marketing judgment, excellent execution, and the ability to make progress without relying on a large staff or extensive agency support.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Execution

·         Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with company priorities, revenue goals, product initiatives, and regional needs.

·         Translate business objectives into focused campaigns, content, programs, and measurable marketing activities.

·         Balance long-term planning with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

·         Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, available resources, and market opportunity.

Demand Generation and Digital Campaigns

·         Plan, build, launch, and optimize campaigns across email, web, paid and organic digital channels, webinars, events, and partner programs.

·         Develop programs that create awareness, generate qualified demand, and support progression through the sales cycle.

·         Work with sales teams to align campaign targeting, follow-up, messaging, and measurement.

·         Use performance data to improve audience selection, content, conversion, and return on marketing investment.

Content and Product Marketing

·         Create clear and compelling content for technical and business audiences, including product messaging, web copy, campaign materials, blogs, datasheets, eBooks, presentations, and customer-facing collateral.

·         Partner with product management, engineering, and sales to understand cybersecurity use cases, product capabilities, customer security and compliance requirements, competitive differentiation, and market requirements.

·         Develop positioning and messaging that make complex cybersecurity and cryptographic solutions understandable and relevant to target buyers.

·         Maintain consistency and accuracy across marketing communications while adapting content for different audiences, industries, and regions.

Partner and Channel Marketing

·         Work with the Global and Strategic Alliances team to develop marketing programs that strengthen partner engagement and support joint revenue opportunities.

·         Create and execute co-marketing campaigns with cybersecurity technology partners, channel partners, systems integrators, cloud providers, managed security providers, and other ecosystem participants.

·         Develop partner-facing materials, joint messaging, campaign resources, sales enablement content, webinars, and event programs.

·         Establish practical methods for measuring partner-marketing participation, campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and business impact.

·         Serve as a strong marketing counterpart to partners while keeping partner initiatives aligned with Futurex brand, product, and commercial priorities.

Sales Enablement

·         Develop presentations, solution briefs, competitive materials, campaign tools, and other resources that help sales teams engage customers effectively.

·         Collaborate with sales leaders and field teams to identify content gaps and respond to changing market needs.

·         Ensure sales teams have current, accurate, and useful messaging for products, solutions, industries, and partner offerings.

Events and Market Engagement

·         Plan and support conferences, webinars, partner events, customer programs, and other market-facing activities.

·         Coordinate messaging, promotion, content, logistics, lead capture, and follow-up to improve event outcomes.

·         Evaluate event and sponsorship opportunities based on audience relevance, business value, and expected return.

Analytics and Marketing Operations

·         Define meaningful performance measures for campaigns, content, digital programs, events, and partner-marketing activities.

·         Use HubSpot and other marketing tools to manage programs, monitor results, and improve execution.

·         Provide clear reporting and practical recommendations based on campaign performance, market feedback, and pipeline data.

·         Maintain strong project management, quality control, and follow-through across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration

·         Set direction and provide leadership for assigned marketing initiatives while remaining directly involved in the work.

·         Coordinate effectively across marketing, sales, alliances, product management, engineering, and executive leadership.

·         Guide internal contributors and external resources when appropriate, while maintaining personal ownership of outcomes and deliverables.

·         Build effective working relationships across regions and adapt programs to different markets without losing consistency or focus.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

·         Eight or more years of B2B marketing experience, including ownership of integrated campaigns and senior-level responsibility for strategy and execution.

·         Demonstrated success marketing complex products or services to enterprise customers.

·         Experience marketing enterprise cybersecurity, data protection, identity, cloud security, cryptography, or related security technologies is strongly preferred; experience in fintech, payments, or financial services technology is also valuable.

·         Working familiarity with cybersecurity buyers, partner ecosystems, and industry concepts such as encryption, key management, PKI, HSMs, zero trust, and security or compliance frameworks is preferred.

·         Strong hands-on experience across demand generation, content development, product marketing, digital campaigns, sales enablement, events, and marketing analytics.

·         Experience developing partner, channel, or alliance marketing programs as part of a broader B2B marketing role.

·         Ability to write and edit clear, effective content for both technical and executive audiences.

·         Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and contributors.

·         Working knowledge of HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation and CRM platform.

·         Sound analytical judgment and experience using data to evaluate and improve marketing performance.

·         Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with sales, product, technical, and partner teams.

·         A player-coach mentality with a willingness to personally create, build, review, and deliver work.

·         Experience supporting international markets or global programs is preferred.

What Success Looks Like

·         Marketing priorities are clearly connected to company and revenue objectives.

·         Campaigns and content are delivered consistently, on time, and at a high standard.

·         Sales teams have useful tools and messaging that support customer engagement.

·         Partner-marketing programs produce stronger engagement and measurable joint activity.

·         Marketing decisions are informed by reliable performance data and market insight.

·         The role operates with ownership, urgency, sound judgment, and a willingness to do the work required to move initiatives forward.
