To help you navigate your role, and support your success you will be trained in all aspects of food hygiene and health & safety of the property and people.

Our hotel offers 141 rooms, meeting rooms, gym, sauna, steam room and food & beverage facilities

To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent in English.

Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.

Job Title: Kitchen Porter 

Hourly Rate: £12.73 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week (weekly rota)

Shift Patterns:

  • Morning: 7am till 2pm 
  • Late Shift: 4pm till 10:30pm 
  • Split Shift: 5pm till 10:30pm (this includes working a morning shift)

Flexible and always ready to assist at any stage of the chef's needs and everything in between to ensure we deliver great food in a safe environment.

A Kitchen Porter helps keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organised.

Main duties include:

  • Washing dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment.
  • Deep cleaning of floors and kitchen areas.
  • Taking out rubbish.
  • Putting away deliveries and supplies.
  • Following hygiene and safety rules.
  • Helping chefs and other kitchen staff when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • No formal qualifications required.
  • Previous kitchen or cleaning experience is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Training will be provided
