The Role • Operate specialized heavy equipment such as hostlers, cranes, and top loaders to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers safely and efficiently from railcars and trucks. • Position and organize containers within the intermodal yard using hostlers. • Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics operations. • Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position. • Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Strong commitment to safety protocols and a high level of attention to detail. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders/stairs. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
