Work Arrangement: Onsite, lab based (hybrid policy may apply), approximately 30% travel across North America

Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring on behalf of its client, a global consumer and industrial brands company, for a Laboratory Adhesive Packaging Engineer within its Adhesive Technologies business unit in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This lab based role delivers value to customers in the Flexible Packaging business, focusing primarily on coatings for films, working closely with the business development team.

What You Will Do

  • Drive technical solutions and innovation in flexible packaging coatings, supporting film based applications and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, R&D, Sales, and customers to move projects from concept through commercialization.
  • Lead lab based development, including experiment design, testing, and continuous improvement of formulations and processes.
  • Apply expertise in coating, laminating, and film extrusion to troubleshoot and optimize customer applications.
  • Manage project execution, including timelines, supplier coordination, and milestone delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five or more years of experience in coatings, flexible packaging, or film manufacturing
  • Hands on experience with coating, laminating, converting, or film extrusion
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% across North America to support customer trials and business development activities
