Job Description

Administrative Assistant

A well-established and growing Chartered Surveying practice is looking to appoint an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support its busy team of surveyors and office staff.

The business provides a broad range of professional property services across the residential and commercial sectors and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice and excellent client service.

This is a varied remote role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and acting as a key point of contact for clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a high-volume email inbox and responding to enquiries.
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating surveyors' diaries.
  • Handling client enquiries via email and telephone.
  • Supporting wider administrative functions and providing cover where required.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls while delivering excellent customer service.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and other administrative software.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Pattern

  • Fully remote.
  • Part-time, three days per week.
  • Approximately 21 to 22.2 hours per week.
  • Flexibility to work full weeks when required to provide holiday cover.

Salary

  • £20,000 to £21,000 per annum (part-time equivalent).
  • Equivalent to approximately £18 per hour, increasing to up to £20 per hour for the right candidate.
