Job Description
We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to manage multiple IT projects from planning through completion. The candidate will be responsible for managing approximately 6 9 projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking project milestones, and communicating with business and technical stakeholders.The initial engagement will be a 6-month contract, with the intention to convert the selected candidate to a full-time employee based on performance and business requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones.
  • Coordinate with business, technical, and cross-functional teams.
  • Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues.
  • Manage priorities across multiple projects.
  • Requirements
  • 15+ years of overall professional experience.
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, preferably 6 9 projects concurrently.
  • Strong IT/technology background.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Charlotte, NC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Key Requirement
The primary focus is strong Project Management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The specific technology stack is not the primary consideration.
