Roles & Responsibilities

· Manage and Maintain IBM AIX servers including OS management, Firmware updates and AIX Migrations.

· Perform AIX patching, HMC patching, and NIM setup and Operations.

· Administer Linux servers including patch management, performance tuning, and System upgrades.

· Ensure Compliance with security benchmark.

· Manage Satellite servers for patching and system management.

· Provide expert level support for Linux/AIX system security including access control, audit logging and vulnerability mitigation.

· Manage and troubleshoot HP Physical server infrastructure.

· Good understanding on virtualization technologies.

· Support day to day issues like server hung, unexpected reboot and performance issues for DB hosts.

· Maintain System documentations and collaborate with cross functional teams.

· Familiarity of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.

· Good understanding of Automation tools like Ansible and deep scripting knowledge for configuration management, deployment and Compliance.

· Basic understanding of Dynatrace monitoring tool.
