We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic team within a globally recognized leader in the discount retail sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple entities, contributing to the smooth operation of a well-established and innovative company.

The Role

• Responsibility for the timely and accurate execution of monthly payroll processing in compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and company regulations.
• Creation of employment-related documents, reference letters, and maintaining employee and personnel files.
• Advising employees and management on payroll-related matters, including employment, income tax, and social security law.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for health insurance providers, social security agencies, and authorities, managing certifications and reporting.
• Preparing and reconciling payroll data for accounting purposes, including journal entries and provisions.
• Monitoring and implementing changes in payroll regulations and legal requirements.
• Analyzing current processes and identifying opportunities for optimization.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in a commercial field and several years of experience in payroll or HR administration.
• Solid understanding of current employment, income tax, and social security law.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with HR administration and payroll systems, ideally SAP HCM or P&I Loga.
• Strong commitment, service orientation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent teamwork, reliability, and resilience.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in digital HR transformation.
