Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer

Location: West Midlands (Field-Based)
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Paid Travel Time + Overtime
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you will provide exceptional service and technical support to customers across a variety of commercial and industrial sites.

Your responsibilities will Include:

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on refrigeration, air conditioning and chiller systems
  • Servicing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
  • Working with refrigeration, air conditioning, chiller, hydrocarbon and CO systems
  • Completing service documentation and reports via company tablet
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and technical support on-site
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Refrigeration and or Air Conditioning Service Engineer
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working with chillers
  • Knowledge of CO and hydrocarbon refrigeration systems is advantageous but not essential
  • C&G 2079 (F-Gas) qualification or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (desirable)
