Description
Join our team as a senior technical authority in Android development, where you'll lead architecture and delivery of a major mobile banking application. 
Based in Irving, TX, this contract position requires expertise in modern mobile technologies and collaboration across various teams to create robust mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop major features for the flagship Android application, ensuring scalability and resilience. Set technical direction and standards for the Android tech stack, including modern programming languages and frameworks. Define and enforce high standards for code quality, testing, and performance, resolving critical defects efficiently. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high-quality mobile experiences.

Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in native Android application development. Expertise in programming languages and modern architecture patterns. Deep knowledge of Android SDK and build systems, with experience optimizing complex builds. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues in production applications. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
