GTM Engineer

About the Role

Join the client-facing GTM team at a data infrastructure and analytics company as its first dedicated GTM Engineer. You will build end-to-end go-to-market systems for clients and help turn repeatable work into a scalable service.

What You'll Do

• Lead kickoff and ongoing strategy calls with client founders and growth leaders.

• Build ideal customer profiles by analyzing closed-won deals and call transcripts, then create prioritized target lists.

• Set up outbound systems using APIs and GTM tools, and coordinate inbound content and signal-based campaigns.

• Develop reusable templates and playbooks, and help shape the service offering.

What We're Looking For

• Two to six years of experience in client-facing GTM, consulting, agency, founding GTM, or forward-deployed roles.

• Experience building and marketing a venture or side business that gained paying customers, ideally through marketing you personally planned and executed.

• Hands-on, builder-level experience with Clay, Instantly, n8n, Claude Code, and other modern GTM or AI tools.

• Comfort with APIs and light coding, supported by a technical background from education or work experience.

• A track record of personal accountability for customer outcomes and a specific contribution to revenue growth.

• Ability to work through ambiguity, develop new playbooks, communicate GTM strategy clearly, and respond constructively to feedback.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $140,000 to $180,000 annually, with meaningful equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.

On-site in San Francisco, California. New York City is also listed as an available office location.
