Job Description

Job Role: AML/TF Model Validation Consultant

Experience: 10 Years

location: Remote

Visa: Any

Job Description:

• At least five years of experience in sanctions compliance, OFAC screening, financial-crime analytics, or model validation.
• Demonstrated experience independently validating sanctions-screening or name-matching systems.
• Strong knowledge of OFAC requirements and U.S. banking regulatory expectations.
• Experience evaluating matching algorithms, thresholds, data quality, list ingestion, configuration, false positives, and false negatives.
• Strong analytical, technical-writing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Availability for the full engagement period.
Critical experience requirement
Candidates should have direct, hands-on experience with WatchDOG-to-LexisNexis migrations or with validating both platforms in a comparable migration context.
Candidates should understand:
• WatchDOG and LexisNexis configurations and data requirements
• Differences in matching logic, scoring, and alert generation
• Legacy-to-target regression testing
• Migration reconciliation and discrepancy analysis
• Definition of acceptable versus unexplained system differences
• Testing of names, aliases, identifiers, thresholds, and sanctions-list updates
Candidates without meaningful WatchDOG and LexisNexis experience are unlikely to be suitable unless they bring directly comparable sanctions-platform migration and validation expertise.
Nice-to-have qualifications
• Experience with Palantir-based transaction-monitoring models.
• Familiarity with transaction-monitoring scenario validation, ATL and BTL testing, threshold sensitivity, and implementation verification.
• Experience supporting concurrent transaction-monitoring and sanctions-model validations.
• Experience working with fintech-focused or banking-as-a-service institutions.
