Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior EDI Support Specialist with a strong healthcare payer background to provide Level

2/Level 3 production support for enterprise EDI platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HIPAA X12 transactions, Facets-integrated environments, Edifecs Suite, and TriZetto HIPAA Gateway.

This role focuses on production monitoring, transaction troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, trading partner management, and maintaining reliable EDI operations supporting claims, enrollment, eligibility, provider, and payment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application and production support for healthcare payer EDI platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transaction failures, rejections, reconciliation issues, and file transmission errors.
• Support and maintain Edifecs Suite, TriZetto HIPAA Gateway, BizTalk Server, and Facets-integrated environments.
• Troubleshoot HIPAA X12 transactions, including enrollment, claims, eligibility, claim status, prior authorization, and payment transactions.
• Perform root cause analysis, resolve recurring incidents, and improve transaction processing and platform reliability.
• Manage trading partner onboarding, connectivity, certification, testing, and production releases.
• Support SFTP connectivity, batch processing, file transfers, and related integrations.
• Write and execute SQL queries to investigate transaction issues and validate data.
• Collaborate with business teams, vendors, external trading partners, and technical teams to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain support documentation, incident records, operational procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of healthcare payer and EDI production support experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on HIPAA X12 transaction support and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience with Facets, preferably in large-scale healthcare payer environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Edifecs Suite and TriZetto HIPAA Gateway.
• 3+ years of trading partner management, onboarding, certification, and production support.
• Strong experience with SQL Server or Oracle, Unix/Linux, SFTP, and batch processing.
• Experience working with XML/XSD, JSON, and EDI-related integrations.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting, communication, and root cause analysis skills.
• Required HIPAA X12 Transaction Experience
