Deploy Automation Engineer (Junior)

We are seeking a Deploy Automation Engineer to support the setup, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous integration and deployment infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD automation, build processes, and deployment operations.

CMS experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and enhance continuous build and integration infrastructure.
• Create and maintain automated CI build processes across multiple Linux environments.
• Develop and maintain build and deployment scripts.
• Support CI/CD tool integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
• Support full automation of CI and testing processes.
• Develop policies, standards, guidelines, and governance for CI/CD operations.
• Onboard, train, and support developers with source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment processes.
• Enable DevOps practices by moving code from Development and Testing through Staging and Production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with development and technical teams to improve automation and deployment efficiency.

Required Skills

• 1+ year Red Hat Ansible
• 1+ year Jenkins
• 1+ year Linux Operations
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Must be eligible to receive Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Must have established U.S. residency for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
• Must be local to the Washington, D.C. Metro / Northern VA area.
• Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
• Background investigation must be completed prior to the start of work.
