Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Computer Operator 2 to monitor data center operations, infrastructure, and network systems!
 
Location: Atlanta, GA (Local Candidates Only)
 
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site
 
Interview Process: Web Cam or In-Person
 
Shift: Weekend Shift (Sat & Sun, 7 PM – 7 AM) + 16 weekday hours (flexible shift)
 

Key Responsibilities & Important Skills

Core Operations & Job Scheduling
 
  • Data Center: Large data center operations, raised floor environments, and NOC experience
  • Schedulers: Control-M and TPE/BPE Manager
     
  • Production Control: Batch processing, change management, and incident/problem tracking
Facilities & Physical Security
 
  • Infrastructure: HVAC, UPS, power generators, fire detection, and suppression systems
  • Security: Physical data center security monitoring
Systems & Networking
 
  • Servers: AIX, Linux, and Windows server environments
  • Networks: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, MPLS, and SNA
  • Frameworks: ITIL processes, disaster recovery, and hardware/software maintenance

Position Requirements

  • Education: 2-year IT degree/certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years in data center operations and infrastructure monitoring.
