Summary

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and client-centered Music Therapist who thrives in a flexible, community-based setting. The ideal candidate uses music as a dynamic tool to engage, support, and empower clients across a wide range of abilities. We're looking for someone who brings both clinical insight and creativity to their work—someone who can operate independently while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate appropriate MT sessions
  • Complete session notes within company expectations
  • Submit invoicing by company deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with team and supervisors
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program
  • Board Certification (MT-BC) required
  • Strong musicianship and the ability to use a variety of instruments and vocal techniques in sessions
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate clients through evidence-based and individualized interventions
  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations, individuals with disabilities, or behavioral health needs preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel for community-based sessions

Rate: $45/hr, mileage reimbursement, flexible schedule
