Role: Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Development
2 days/week onsite in Columbia, SC and 3 days/week remote.
Candidate must currently reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dataverse & Power Apps Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
The developer will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. This is a highly hands-on role focused on Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, integrations, automation, data modeling, security, and solution optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- Build and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, APIs, and security roles.
- Develop complex automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications, data sources, and Azure services.
- Create and manage custom connectors, APIs, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for solution architecture, governance, data modeling, and secure-by-design development.
- Support Power Platform ALM, solution management, DevOps, and deployment pipelines.
- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, data models, connectors, workflows, and operational support.
- Assist with monitoring, auditing, logging, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable business applications.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Power Apps development experience with both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
- 5+ years of Dataverse development experience, including advanced data modeling and security architecture.
- Strong experience with Power Automate and complex workflows/integrations.
- Experience with custom connectors, APIs, and Azure integrations.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform environments, ALM, solution management, DevOps, and deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and PowerFx and low-code extensibility patterns.
- Must hold a Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics certification, or have 5+ years of equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure API Management.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE and extended Dataverse capabilities.
- Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST, or PCI.
- Knowledge of Power BI and reporting integrations.
- Understanding of Power Platform and Azure AD security architecture.
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- PL-400 – Power Platform Developer
- PL-600 – Power Platform Solution Architect
- AZ-900 – Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
