ROLE
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join the engineering team.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of manufacturing equipment, helping to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, fault-find and implement lasting repairs, as well as supporting installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects.

The role will involve working across equipment and systems including temperature control, vacuum, water and air cooling, dust extraction, AC/DC motor controls and 3-phase electrical systems, alongside mechanical equipment such as pumps, conveyors, bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics. PERSON
We are looking for a time-served or qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical background and good electrical competency ideally around 70% mechanical / 30% electrical.

You will have previous experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing machinery and be confident fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems. Experience within foundry, heavy engineering, metals or another industrial manufacturing environment would be advantageous, although it is not essential and full training will be provided. Most importantly, you will be a proactive, practical engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving equipment reliability and working as part of a team.
