Job Description
- Responsible for Embedded Software Features running on products
- Manage and be responsible for software development activities performed by external vendors, in the areas of platform, MAC, PHY, RF, and Cloud Management Software
- Provide requirements to external vendors, and measure their deliverables
- Engage and collaborate with internal software development leads, in the areas of software architecture and requirements for platform, MAC, PHY, RF, and Cloud Management software development
- Engage with internal SQA leads for product level testing of Embedded software
- Engage with internal HW leads to define product requirements and architecture
- Designing and developing software for embedded applications
- Shipping commercial software for embedded applications
- Managing a team of software development engineers
- Experience with IEEE 802.11 MAC/PHY protocols required
- Experience with Linux OS required
