Who you'll be:
The Information Assurance (IA) Policy and Compliance Certified Professional Senior will lead the Cyber Operations Team, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures within a secure operations center. This role is crucial for safeguarding information systems against cyber threats, primarily in a DOD, DOE, or Law Enforcement environment.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the Cyber Operations Team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of cybersecurity operations.
  • Oversee security operations including incident analysis, incident handling, and vulnerability management.
  • Administer and manage security devices such as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Perform log analysis, intrusion detection, and system patching.
  • Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel, adapting to Federal and Contractor environments.

What you need: 

  • 4 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations (Tier-2 or higher) in a secure environment.
  • 3 years of relevant information security experience (Tier-1 or Tier-2).
  • MA/MS with at least 10 years, or BA/BS with at least 12 years of experience in information security and Cyber Security operations.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP, networking, and security product experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as GIAC, GSNA, or GCIA, or the ability to obtain them within 6 months of the contract award.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Candidate must have an Active Secret clearance
  • Role required to be based in Albuquerque, NM.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$139,300—$282,500 USD
