Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to join the Corporate Consolidation team on a six-month contract. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the monthly close and consolidation process while helping drive the implementation of the Tagetik Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform.

The ideal candidate is a proactive accounting professional with extensive experience in corporate consolidations, financial systems implementations, and U.S. GAAP. This role requires close collaboration with Finance, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, system validation, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the Tagetik EPM platform, including:
• Business process design
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• System validation
• Issue resolution
• Post-deployment stabilization
• Validate accounting results and system configurations to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and implementation partners to troubleshoot accounting and system-related issues.
• Monitor and review intercompany journal entries within SAP and supporting systems.
• Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies across multiple legal entities.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
• Maintain foreign exchange rates within accounting systems to support proper currency translation and consolidation.
• Prepare consolidation schedules and supporting documentation for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support SOX compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.
• Support management reporting, statutory reporting, and other special accounting projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''''s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including:
• Corporate consolidations
• Intercompany accounting
• Foreign currency accounting
• Topside journal entries
• Experience working within multinational organizations and multiple legal entities.
• Hands-on experience supporting ERP/EPM implementations, including:
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Business process testing
• System validation
• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and financial systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and financial data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with:
• Tagetik EPM
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP Group Reporting
• Other Corporate Consolidation or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms
• Experience supporting finance transformation or ERP implementation projects.
