今回、キャラクターの会話をより自然で魅力的なものにするため、日本語のセリフや会話表現を一緒に考えていただけるライターを募集します。

募集ポジションについて

自然な日本語の会話表現に優れ、言葉遣いや会話のテンポ、感情表現などの細かなニュアンスを理解しているキャラクター・会話シナリオライターを募集しています。

AIキャラクターの話し方、感情表現、性格、ユーザーとのコミュニケーションのあり方などを考え、キャラクターの魅力を引き出していただくポジションです。

一般的な翻訳やローカライズ業務とは異なり、キャラクターが「そのキャラクターらしく」話し、反応するための表現をつくるクリエイティブな仕事です。

たとえば、同じ内容を伝える場合でも、キャラクターの性格や感情、相手との関係性によって、言葉遣いや会話のテンポは変わります。そうした細かなニュアンスを大切にできる方を求めています。

長年の実務経験は必須ではありません。経験年数よりも、創造性、キャラクターへの理解、自然で魅力的な会話を書く力を重視しています。

業務内容

• キャラクターの性格、口調、話し方の設計・改善

• キャラクターごとの個性や感情、状況に合わせた自然な日本語のセリフ・会話の作成

• 会話のテンポ、言葉遣い、ユーモア、感情表現などの調整

• ユーザーへの反応や感情表現、関係性の築き方など、キャラクターの振る舞いに関するアイデアの提案

• キャラクターの個性を一貫して表現するための会話スタイルやガイドラインの作成

• 海外のクリエイティブチーム・プロダクトチームとの連携

• 既存のキャラクターの会話をレビューし、より自然で感情豊かな表現へ改善

必須条件

• ネイティブレベルの日本語力があり、自然な会話表現や言葉のニュアンスを深く理解している方

• 日常会話で使われる自然な言い回し、口語表現、会話のテンポ、ユーモア、感情表現に敏感な方

• キャラクターの個性を表現し、魅力的な会話やセリフを作成できる文章力・創作力

• 海外チームと英語でコミュニケーションが取れる方（チャット・オンラインミーティングの両方）

• キャラクター制作や会話・セリフの執筆スキルが分かるポートフォリオ、または作品サンプルを提出できる方

• AI、インタラクティブな会話、キャラクターを中心としたコンテンツに興味がある方

• キャラクター制作、クリエイティブライティング、ゲーム、映画などの分野での執筆経験

• 脚本制作、演劇、コメディなど、会話やセリフを中心とした創作活動の経験

• インタラクティブストーリー、分岐型シナリオ、会話デザインの経験

• AIキャラクターや会話型AIサービスへの関心・理解

• 現代の日本語による日常的なコミュニケーションについての実践的な理解

• ロシア語でのコミュニケーション能力

ポートフォリオについて

ご応募の際は、キャラクター制作や会話・セリフの執筆経験が分かる作品をご提出ください。

ゲーム、映画、演劇、コメディ、インタラクティブストーリー、個人制作作品など、ジャンルは問いません。

特に、キャラクターの個性が伝わるセリフや、自然な会話のやり取りが分かるサンプルを歓迎します。

商業作品や正式なポートフォリオがなくても問題ありません。

個人制作や自主制作の作品でも、創造性、キャラクター表現力、自然な日本語の会話を書く力が伝わるものであれば、ぜひお送りください。

働き方について

まずは業務委託（フリーランス）としての協業を予定しています。

About Us

At Animation Inc., we’re building Animates — an AI companion app that brings interactive characters to life through real-time animation, natural conversations, and long-term memory.

Our characters are designed to feel expressive, engaging, and genuinely alive. We’re looking for a creative writer who can help shape their personalities, dialogue, and interactions to make conversations feel more natural, engaging, and emotionally authentic.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Japanese Character & Dialogue Writer with an excellent ear for natural spoken Japanese, conversational rhythm, and the subtle nuances that make characters feel believable.

You’ll help shape how our AI characters speak, express emotions, develop personalities, and interact with users.

This isn’t a traditional translation or localization role. We’re looking for someone who understands what makes a character feel authentic, memorable, and engaging — particularly through dialogue.

The same message can sound completely different depending on a character’s personality, emotional state, and relationship with the user. We’re looking for someone who understands these differences and can bring them to life through writing.

You don’t need years of professional writing experience. What matters most is your creativity, understanding of character personalities, and ability to write natural, compelling conversations.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine character personalities, voices, and speaking styles.

• Write natural, engaging Japanese dialogue that reflects different personalities, emotions, and conversational situations.

• Refine conversational rhythm, tone, humor, and emotional expression.

• Help define how characters respond, express themselves, and build connections with users.

• Create dialogue guidelines to ensure consistency in character personalities and communication styles.

• Collaborate with our international creative and product teams to continuously improve character experiences.

• Review and refine existing character conversations to make them feel more natural, authentic, and emotionally engaging.

What We’re Looking For

• Native-level Japanese proficiency, with a strong understanding of natural spoken language, conversational nuances, and everyday communication.

• An excellent ear for colloquial expressions, conversational rhythm, humor, tone, and emotional nuances.

• Strong creative writing skills, particularly in character development and dialogue.

• Comfortable communicating in English with an international team, both in writing and during meetings.

• A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating your ability to create distinct characters and natural conversations.

• An interest in AI, interactive conversations, and character-driven experiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience in creative writing, character development, video games, film, or other entertainment industries.

• Background in screenwriting, theater, comedy, or other dialogue-driven creative work.

• Experience with interactive storytelling, branching dialogue, or conversation design.

• Interest in or experience with AI characters and conversational AI products.

• Firsthand understanding of contemporary everyday Japanese communication.

• Russian language skills.

Portfolio

Please include examples of your character writing or dialogue work.

We’re open to samples from video games, film, theater, comedy, interactive storytelling, or personal creative projects.

Samples that demonstrate distinct character personalities, natural dialogue, and conversational dynamics are especially welcome.

You don’t need a traditional professional portfolio — we’re equally interested in independent projects that demonstrate your creativity, sense of character, and ability to write natural Japanese conversations.

We’ll start with a freelance collaboration, with the potential for a longer-term partnership.

The role is fully remote, with flexible working arrangements. We’ll discuss the expected workload and scope of work during the hiring process.
