cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Credit Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis. Credit analysis of a high standard of various proposals submitted to the department (across segments- Corporate, Commercial Real Estate and Financial Institutions)

Responsibilities:

1. Analyse and vet credit applications, including detailed financial analysis and recommendations.
2. Manage Financial Institution (FI) credit limits, reviews, research and bank ratings.
3. Manage Global Country Limits, reviews, monitoring and country ratings.
4. Prepare and analyse portfolio MIS/credit reports and investigate variances.
5. Analyse watchlist accounts, ensuring approvals and account strategies are in place.
6. Provide other credit reports and departmental support as required.

The candidate:

1. Financial degree or related discipline.
2. 5+ years’ relevant experience in a financial institution.
3. Strong credit and financial analysis skills.
4. Excellent Excel, plus strong Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills; financial modelling is desirable.
5. Good knowledge of banking/securities products and cross-border risk.
6. Awareness of financial markets, industries and macroeconomic/political developments.
